This morning a fire broke out in the foothills of the Sierra de Carrascoy.
The Region of Murcia has activated the Infomur Emergency Plan Against Forest Fires because the flames have spread rapidly due to strong gusts of wind.
The situation of this fire worries about the storm that affects the Guadalentín Valley, in an orange warning situation due to strong gusts. The site has been mobilized by Murcia Firefighters, the Regional Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium, seven forest brigades and a rapid intervention brigade, as well as two helicopters.

The Autonomous Community has asked the State for two seaplanes and Valencia for a helicopter with a helicopter brigade and a coordination aircraft.
