[Agreement between the City Council and IMAS for the maintenance of the Early Care Center (08/01/2021)

The Alhama City Council has signed a new agreement with the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Murcian Institute of Social Action (IMAS) to regulate the commitments and conditions applicable to the concession.

The main objective of early care programs is that children who have developmental disorders or are at risk of suffering from them receive, following a model that considers bio-psycho-social aspects, everything that, from the preventive and Care can enhance their capacity for development and well-being, enabling their integration into the family and social environment, as well as their personal autonomy. Center users must meet the following requirements: • Being under six years of age with temporary or permanent therapeutic needs caused by limitations, alterations in development or at risk of suffering them. • Belong to the families of the children cared for.

They will receive the information, guidance, training, support and, where appropriate, intervention necessary for an adequate family and social approach to the child's situation. Likewise, Early Care includes the following services: • Prevention, detection and diagnosis programs. • Therapeutic intervention programs that could include: sensory-motor and cognitive, motor, speech therapy and functional, socio-affective and family stimulation, etc. • Advice to the family and the social environment. • Coordination with other centers or services for the development of their functions. The CARM, through IMAS, contributes the amount of € 54,482.00, while the Alhama City Council does so with an amount of € 20,250.07, for which it undertakes to meet the financial obligations derived from the perception of this grant. The term of execution of this contract is one year.
