The Emergency Coordination Center 1-1-2 Murcia Region has received several calls starting at 7:02 p.m.

reporting the traffic accident that occurred on the RM-3 direction Totana at exit 11, in the municipal area of ??Alhama de Murcia. Callers report that there has been a frontal collision between two passenger cars, one of which was going in the opposite direction. As a result of the accident there are two people injured and trapped, the respective drivers of both vehicles. They report that one of the vehicles has caught fire. The following units travel to the scene of the accident: Civil Guard. Firefighters of the Consortium for Fire Extinction and Rescue of the Region of Murcia (3 firefighters and a light urban pumper). 3 ambulances from the Urgencies and Health Emergencies Management 061 (a Mobile Emergency Unit, an Emergency Service ambulance and a non-assistance ambulance). Civil Guard requests road maintenance personnel to the place. UME health personnel confirm the existence of two injured, a man and a woman who are conscious and are not serious. The UME transfers the driver of one of the passenger cars, a 27-year-old man seriously injured. The Emergency Service ambulance takes the driver of the other vehicle involved with a serious injury. The injured are transferred to the Virgen de la Arrixaca University General Hospital.
