This week, the Sports Council is replacing the old floor of the multipurpose room of the heated pool and also sealing cracks that had been produced in the window joints. This space, inaugurated at the same time as the pool in 2004, is being rehabilitated after 16 years of permanent use of different activities organized by the council. The works consist of dismantling the old platform and placing a new one for 5,807.24 euros, adapted to the physical and sporting activity that takes place inside the room. On the other hand, various cracks in the joints of the windows that cause dampness are being repaired.
The interior wall of the room will be caulked and given a new paint field. These new improvement and maintenance works are in addition to those already being carried out in this particular facility, which since the summer of 2019 have been the replacement work of the heated pool cover, the arrangement of the floor of the changing room, the painting of the tiles in the showers and changing rooms, and the treatment and painting of the pool's hot water accumulator to eliminate the oxidation that it has inside the tank for 1,028.50 euros.
