This success consolidates the commitment of the Alhama City Council to excellent tourism and to undergo this type of audits that reinforce the importance of the work carried out in this areaThe municipal office of Tourism of Alhama de Murcia has passed, one more year, the independent audit necessary for the renewal of the Q certificate for Tourist Quality, granted by the ICTE (Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality).The Q for Quality is the mark that distinguishes tourist organizations and services that, voluntarily, have opted to improve their level of customer service and internal management, implementing a quality management system, in accordance with the standard quality standards that the UNE-ISO 14785: 2015 applies to them, in the case of tourist offices.
In the Region, there are six that are certified with Q, among which is Alhama.This recognition is added to the Safe Tourism Certified, with which the ICTE recognized our office as part of the Network of Offices of the Region of Murcia last July.
With this certification on the implementation of contagion prevention measures against Covid-19, the one in our region became the first network of offices to achieve it and we are the autonomous community with the largest number of certified offices.The Alhama Tourism Office, attached to this network, also holds the ISO 9001: 2015 quality certification and will soon undergo the evaluation to renew the T distinction for Tourism Quality Commitment granted by the Secretary of State for Tourism, in a clear commitment to quality as a differentiating element of its service.
