The emergency works for the renovation of the current potable water and sanitation pipes in Virgen de los Dolores street have already begun.
The City Council, through the company responsible for the water service, Socamex, undertakes this action that aims to improve the networks, including those connected to homes, which are currently deteriorated due to aging and obsolete materials. For drinking water, 100 mm K9 ductile iron pipe will be used and for sanitation it will be corrugated PVC DN400. Two fire hydrants for firefighters will also be installed in this area and all the pavement (asphalt) will be replaced at the end of the works.The execution period of the works is four months and the tender budget amounts to 377,158.32 euros.
