Health recommendations addressed to the population for All Saints' Day (08/10/2020)

The mayor, Mariola Guevara, has met this morning with the parish priest of the church of San Lázaro, José Prior, and representatives of the florists of Alhama with the aim of organizing and ensuring compliance with health regulations on the weekend of 31 October and November 1, on the occasion of All Saints' Day.The Alhama cemetery, owned by the Catholic Church, has an established schedule from 8:00 a.m.

to 8:00 p.m.

from Mondays to Sundays. According to the recommendations sent to the town councils of the Region by the Ministry of Health, the cemeteries will remain open from next week for their prior adaptation for this holiday.

In the case of Alhama, the Church has established the period from October 15 to November 3, with the objective that the relatives of the deceased can carry out the cleaning and renovation tasks of cemeteries, graves and niches in a staggered manner, avoiding crowds on the days closest to All Saints' Day.The Autonomous Community advises people at risk or belonging to a vulnerable group to avoid going on the days and hours when it is foreseeable that there will be a greater influx. Regarding those who present symptoms compatible with Covid-19, they will not be able to go to the cemetery, they should immediately contact the telephone number 900 12 12 12 follow the medical instructions.Access to the venue will be limited to the maximum capacity allowed in the current situation.

You must maintain a minimum safety distance of 1.5 meters from other people at all times, as well as make use of the hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance and exit, and always wear the mask.It is forbidden to smoke and consume food inside the cemetery; You must respect the indications on the posters.Regarding the presence in the pantheons, Health establishes a maximum number of non-cohabitants of 1 person for every 4 useful m2, not being able to coincide with non-cohabiting people in those pantheons of less than 8 useful m2.The toilets must have hydroalcoholic gel and their capacity will be limited to a maximum of 1 person per 4 m2, or in case of having less than 8 m2 or a single cabin or urinal, their use will be individual.

In this sense, and to facilitate its use by the neighbors, the City Council will collaborate by installing portable (chemical) toilets in the vicinity of the cemetery.The florists have established a service for those people / families who cannot go to the place, taking care of taking the flowers directly to the grave of the deceased / s.
