The Municipal Operational Coordination Center (CECOPAL) has met this Tuesday to analyze the evolution of the pandemic in our municipality and the recent order of the Ministry of Tourism, Youth and Sports regulating sports activity in the field of Autonomous community.
This new instruction, with the approval of the General Directorate of Public Health and Addictions, establishes the guidelines for the return to sporting activity and the use of municipal facilities.In addition, the beginning of the school year makes it necessary to use these spaces by the different educational centers. Thus, CECOPAL has decided to reopen the following public facilities to users:Children's play areas of the municipality and its districts, as well as the Skate Park in Nueva Espuña, the biosaludable games and the petanque courts.Free access sports courts located in the urban area and districts.Gym of the Guadalentín sports complex.Covered pavilions (Adolfo Suárez and Sierra Espuña).Climatized pool.Guadalentín sports complex and El Praíco sports complex.All of them are opened following the hygienic-sanitary protocols and the security measures established by the Ministry of Health. These measures will take effect from 00:00 this Saturday, October 10 (early morning from Friday 9 to Saturday 10).The City Council will continue to inform the residents through awareness campaigns and messages to the population through vehicles equipped with public address systems.The Councils of Health and Safety and Citizen Protection of the City Council remind all residents of the obligation to use a mask, permanent hand hygiene, maintain a safe distance, avoid crowds and ventilate rooms, with the aim of stopping the spread of the virus and not take steps back.
