The Department of Social Welfare reports that since last September 7 the information and socio-family orientation and social insertion workshops have been resumed.
It is an itinerary framed in the Regulatory Regulation of the Concession and Management of Economic Benefits for Family Support and Social Insertion (PEPAFIS) and they complement the economic benefit for coverage of basic needs granted to the participants.
Beneficiaries participate in a nine-month cycle, during which they develop various workshops depending on their needs. There are two groups in operation in each of the itineraries:· A group of linguistic competences: Spanish for foreigners, whose main objective is to facilitate the learning of Spanish as a tool that improves relationships with people's social and work environment.
The number of participants is 20 people. · A group of other competences, with the aim of promoting the development of healthy lifestyle habits, general culture, domestic organization, job search techniques and basic computing.
The capacity is 17 people.Each of these groups has been divided in turn into two subgroups in order to respect the safety and hygiene regulations, regarding the limited capacity of public spaces, maintenance of the safety distance, observation of mandatory compliance with use mask, etc.The sessions will be taught in a blended mode, in which each of the groups will attend one day a week, two hours each day, in order to receive the basic guidelines and material necessary to work later at home, while allowing The monitors continue to monitor and supervise each participant, providing them with personal support and the necessary tools.
In this way, the individuals and families benefiting from this benefit are empowered to maintain their process of acquiring new knowledge, skills and abilities while receiving financial support.
