| The project was one of the proposals chosen in the last edition of participatory budgets | The City Council is carrying out works at the Ginés Díaz - San Cristóbal school this summer, consisting of the adaptation of an outdoor space to carry out activities and games, as well as a vegetable shade area. On the one hand, the asphalt chipboard track (between the south pavilion and the street) is being repaired by chopping down bulges and cleaning, dry sweeping, cleaning with a pressure washer, two layers of black slurry spread with rubber, maintaining unevenness of the same.
It will be destined to play games, which the educational community itself will paint on the ground with material supplied by the City Council.On the other hand, a 12x6m galvanized steel structure is being assembled with rectangular profiles screwed using Starmodul type unions, consisting of six 3m-high pillars of 100,100.3, six anchor plates with four Hilti-type screws each , two 12m (6 + 6) longitudinal beams of 100.100.3 and three other transverse beams of 100.100.3, four transverse straps of 100.50.3, galvanized braided wires or cables for vine clamping, minimum 2 mm, each 40 cm, placed transversely to the belts and cross beams, fixed to the cross beams by welded rings. The latter has furniture made up of six wooden tables with their corresponding benches, which will be fixed to the floor with screws.
The shade will be achieved with six hedera helix type ivies (common ivy), planted in tree pits next to the pillars, which will become entangled in the metal structure mounted for this purpose.The contract, for an amount of 11,807.99 euros, also includes the supply, assembly and installation of the outdoor table set with two benches of certified ecological wood for eight people (board 76x200, total 150x200).
