The City Council of Alhama de Murcia has recently awarded the works to improve road safety on two roads in the municipality:Way of the RamblarEl Ramblar is a paved road that belongs to the City Council's network of public roads.
It has a length of 2.6 kilometers and has a variable width of 4 to 4.5 meters, on its right edge, Totana-Alhama has a precast concrete channel 40 cm wide (variable), whose function is to carry water irrigation to the different agricultural plots, as well as collecting and evacuating rainwater.The road is traveled by pedestrians who cross it and by vehicles that access its properties.
Having a narrow width makes circulation difficult, creating risky situations, especially in curved sections. The works have been divided into three sections:Section 1, from the intersection of the Ramblar with the Camino de los Tejares to the intersection with the Huerto de la Hormiga path.Section 2, from the junction of the Huerto de la Hormiga path to the junction with the Rambla del Molino.Section 3, from the junction with the Rambla del Molino to the junction with the Almendrico road.The performances are of two types.
