The Alhameño City Council has signed an agreement for the next four years with the Red Agroeconatura Association that facilitates the use of municipal facilities and land such as a plot located in the industrial park, the House of Culture of El Berro and other municipal facilities in this district that may be necessary, with the express authorization of this City Council, to carry out the actions set out in its statutes.
Among other: Organize and manage training activities of their own or of other public or private entities by conducting seminars, workshops, conference cycles, study sessions and monographic or general courses.Promote resource efficiency and support the transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy in the agriculture, food and forestry sectors.The Red Agroeconatura 2020 Association is a non-profit entity that aims to promote processes of transition, restoration and agroecological revitalization in harmony with the natural and socio-cultural resources of the territory in protected areas, areas of high natural value and adjacent population centers, to contribute to the socioeconomic development of the territory and to the improvement of ecosystem services derived from the use of good agricultural practices, and also to promote social inclusion, poverty reduction and economic development in rural areas.
