The City Council of Alhama and the organization Cáritas Diócesis de Cartagena have signed a collaboration agreement for food support and attention to basic needs derived from the Covid-19 health emergency.The agreement, for an amount of 6,000 euros, will be used to purchase and distribute food and basic necessities, with the aim of meeting the demand for these grants, which has increased exponentially since the start of the crisis . The text includes four concepts such as the purchase of food for distribution, the purchase of personal and household hygiene products, consumables and teaching materials, as well as the transportation of food.
To access them, users will have to meet a series of requirements, specified in the agreement, such as being registered in the municipality and not exceeding a certain income limit.
