Next Monday, May 25, the athletics track of the Guadalentín complex will reopen to the public to play sports, as well as the tennis, paddle and pediment courts of the El Praíco sports center, which had been closed since March 12 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. In them there will be access control at the entrance and a capacity limit of up to eight people per shift, in the case of the athletics track, two people per track playing one on one in paddle tennis and tennis and only one person per shift in the pediment court. All users must wear a mask until the moment they start physical activity and use hydroalcoholic gel, both when entering and at the end of the activity.During this period, the Sports Department, through the custodians of these units, has continued to carry out maintenance, repairs and improvements, both in the halls and on the slopes, as well as the commissioning of the summer pool.Phase 1 of the de-escalation already gave municipalities the possibility of opening those sports facilities that were outdoors and for individual sports with a series of requirements, such as access by compulsory appointment, in specific and limited shifts and with a strict constant disinfection protocol.Soon, if the situation allows, other facilities may be added, which will be announced, as well as their corresponding access protocol.
