The Department of Commerce of the City of Alhama de Murcia and the Association of Merchants of the municipality have been, for several months, studying different proposals, through specialized companies, to implement a unified system of internet sales, with the aim of having a greater visibility and online positioning for the marketing of your products and services. The City Council continues to support this sector, affected by the closure of its businesses due to the Covid-19 pandemic, to which it has allocated an initial batch of 321,000 euros of aid to reactivate its activity and be able to reach the levels they had before this crisis, contributing to local economic prosperity.The Commerce area is also working on the elaboration of an audiovisual campaign, just as it has been carried out with the hospitality sector, to give greater publicity to Alhama's commerce.
Also in a common signage for business.Starting this week, five-liter hand dispensers and bottles with hydro-alcoholic gel are being distributed to establishments that are open to the public, the cost of which is borne entirely by the City Council. In addition, the 'Shopping for Alhama' initiative will be resumed, through signage in mupis and businesses, which was active throughout 2019, promoting the different seasonal campaigns (back to school, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Father's Day , Mother's Day, summer, fair, etc.) highlighting personalized attention, the quality of products and local commerce. The City Council is already working on a second line of post-summer aid that will continue to protect our local merchants.
