The Department of Sports subsidizes local clubs and associations that have attended the call for Municipal Sports Program Aid, for activities carried out in 2018, for a total amount of 48,000 euros.
With these grants, the aim is to strengthen and promote federated and competitive activity in the regional, national and international spheres and the organization of activities in the various sporting events held in Alhama de Murcia.
Once the procedure is completed and the report has been prepared by the appraisal commission, the amounts are as follows:

Commitments of the City Council with the local sport
To this figure, it is necessary to add 35,000 euros of the annual agreement that the Consistory signs with the associations of sports clubs, with the purpose of facilitating the development of municipal sports schools by the Alhameño clubs that make up the association.
On the other hand, annually, the Motoclub Alhama receives a subsidy, amounting to 6,000 euros, and another 4,000 euros are destined for scholarships to young athletes.
