He considers the threat to the safety of young people and minors in an especially vulnerable situation intolerable.
The delegate of the Government in Murcia, Francisco Jiménez, has informed that, before the two attempts by several people to place alleged explosive devices in the center of reception of minors of the Ral, an investigation has been initiated to determine the identity of the authors .
Jiménez has indicated that collaboration between the Judicial Police Unit of the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Alhama has been established after having a meeting with the local mayor, Mariola Guevara, in which she expressed her concern for integrity of the minors.
The Government delegate has expressed, both to the Vice President of the Regional Government, Isabel Franco, and the Mayor of Alhama, her interest in establishing a close collaboration to end these criminal acts, which pose a threat to security and fundamental rights of the young people and children who occupy this residence.
In their opinion, in addition to a manifestation of violence, they express a discriminatory attitude towards such minors, as well as the contempt for the rights that assist them to receive humane and dignified treatment, even more so because of their age, of especially vulnerable people, that have never caused any problem and that are fully integrated in the population of Alhama de Murcia.
In no way should the possibility of moving this center to another location be considered, since the people who occupy it have shown a civic attitude at all times, and the prejudices of the people who intend this change make it incited exclusively for xenophobic reasons.
