During this Christmas the Consistory has collaborated with the Murcian Basketball Team by lending the Adolfo Suárez sports hall, so that in it the training of the Spanish School of Basketball Championship will be held, which will be held from January 3 to 7 in Huelva.
An Alhameńo, Mario López, has been selected to participate in the national championship, will be part of the 12 players that make up the men's youth team.
It was two years ago when he also participated, this time in the juvenile category, in the National Minibasket Championship that took place in the city of Cádiz.
As for the technical team of the Region of Murcia, it will be formed, among others, by an Alhameńo, José Pagán, president and coach of several categories of the club.
In this case, he will participate as coach of the women's cadet team.
