The eLPOZO Food Workers Foundation awarded by El Mundo ZEN Adecco (04/12/2019)

Yesterday the IV delivery of the El Mundo ZEN Adecco awards that recognize the best companies and initiatives according to seven categories took place in the HOW HOW space in Madrid: best solidarity project, best entrepreneurial project, creative and innovative spaces, promotion of physical activity and Healthy habits;

attraction, generation and maintenance of talent, manager more ZEN and better policies of flexibility and conciliation.

A Murcian company has been awarded on this occasion: the eLPOZO Food Workers Foundation, in the category “best solidarity project”.

The La Caixa Foundation and the EMT (municipal transport company in Madrid) have won second and third place, respectively, for their solidarity projects.

The Mahou San Miguel Foundation, 3M and the Polytechnic University of Madrid have been awarded in the category of “attraction, generation and maintenance of talent”.

Amadix, Qustodio and Trucksters have been the companies awarded in the category Best Entrepreneur Project.

Rewarding their creativity, originality, usefulness and commitment to the well-being of the employee in their infrastructures, the most Creative and Innovative Spaces award has been awarded to Clnica Universidad de Navarra, Cuatrecasas and Idai Nature.

The first prize in the category of Promotion of Physical Activity and Healthy Habits has been for Bankinter.

The second and third for Ferrovial and Laboratoires Quinton, respectively.

L'Orèal, Mapfre and Room Mate Group have received the award of the category Best Flexibility and Conciliation policies.

Josep Santacreu, CEO of DKV and Toms Lara, Human Resources Manager at Faurecia, have received the award for the Director plus ZEN.

As a novelty, in this IV edition the AEN ZEN Adecco “Your Purpose” prize has been awarded to AON, recognizing that, with its philosophy, it has managed to combine the three aspects that balance its purpose as a company, with society and with its employees.

In this edition the record of registered applications has been achieved exceeding 165 entries.

All of them have been evaluated by a professional jury composed of Iker Barricat, general director of Adecco Spain, Dr. Antonio Ros, Jess Cubero, director of Marketing and Communication of Adecco Spain, Father Angel, Carina Spitzka, founder of Fund VC and Adigital president, Juan Fornieles, deputy director of El Mundo, Ivn Martnez-Cubells, director of the cross-sectional Lifestyle Area of ​​Editorial Unit and Enrique Snchez, president of the Adecco Group in Southern Europe.

El Mundo Zen and Adecco, for the fourth consecutive year, have wanted to reward those companies and managers who conceive business management beyond their income statement.

Companies that see their employees as people and not as mere workers.

Companies, in short, that from a triple perspective (physical, social and emotional) seek the happiness of the people who make them as a way to be more productive.

The awards ceremony was held last night in the HOW space in Madrid where more than 160 representatives of the companies that have chosen this year for the prize gathered.

Jess Cubero, director of Marketing and Communication of Adecco in Spain, has been in charge of conducting the gala and stressed that “from Adecco, and with the help of El Mundo ZEN, we want to value the work of the companies that place its employees at the center of their strategy and that help and drive them along the way to achieve their purpose. ”

A jury of category

In its fourth edition, the El Mundo Zen Adecco awards have managed to gather a historical number of applications, exceeding 165 entries from more than 120 companies.

Each of them has been analyzed and evaluated by a jury composed of different personalities from the academic, social and business field of HR.

Among the 21 companies recognized in this IV edition of the El Mundo ZEN Adecco awards, there is the Murcia eLPOZO Food Workers Foundation, which has won a prize in the category “best solidarity project”.

The eLPOZO Food Workers Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps workers and their families cope with difficult situations.

It also promotes the health of its surroundings with sports and cultural activities.

Together with these two lines of action, it supports every year the work of twenty NGOs and non-profit organizations focused on the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.

Since 2008 joins 95% of the workforce to help the people who need it most.

The winners of the fourth edition

A total of 21 awards have been delivered at the gala, divided into seven categories and a special prize, framed within three areas: physical (Promotion of Physical Activity and Healthy Habits and more innovative and creative Spaces), social (Attraction, generation and maintenance of Talent, Best Solidarity Project and Best Entrepreneurial Project) and emotional (Best Flexibility and Reconciliation policies of professional and personal life and more Zen Manager).

In addition, this year among all the nominations submitted, AON has been awarded the “Your Purpose” award, for having managed to combine the three aspects that balance its purpose as a company, with society and with its employees, achieving a perfect balance of these three dimensions and making that purpose the core of your organization.

These are the companies and executives awarded in the IV edition of the El Mundo ZEN Adecco awards:

EL MUNDO 'Zen' Adecco Award for the promotion of physical activity and healthy habits:

- 1st Bankinter Award for personalizing and individualizing healthy activities among its employees with the corporate intranet as the central axis of the program.

- 2nd Prize to Ferrovial, thanks to its HASAVI program that individualizes and teaches healthy practices among its employees so that they are maintained over time.

- 3rd Prize to Laboratoires Quinton for being a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the creation of products for physical activity designed by and for its employees.

EL MUNDO 'Zen' Adecco Award for creative and innovative spaces:

- 1st Prize to the University of Navarra Clinic for putting a hospital in the hands of contemporary interior design, which creates a humanized place, which makes us forget the 'hospital fact'.

- 2nd Prize to Cuatrecasas for giving more space for common and transitional areas, for having a collection of contemporary art in its facilities and some groundbreaking buildings for its architecture.

- 3rd Prize to Idai Nature for preaching with the example of sustainable architecture in the Nordic 'passivehaus' current.

EL MUNDO 'Zen' Adecco Award for the attraction, generation and maintenance of talent:

- 1st Prize to the Mahou San Miguel Foundation for investing in training in the hospitality sector, achieving excellent employability ratios, as well as raising the level of services in this sector and for promoting a dual FP system.

- 2nd Prize for 3M for its project for the attraction of young talent “HereYouGo”: an innovative program that not only seeks to retain young talent, but also to develop it to integrate perfectly trained and full-fledged young people into the market Take on all kinds of challenges.

- 3rd Prize to the Polytechnic University of Madrid for detecting that there are niches that do not cover regulatory education.

For breaking pernicious dynamics, such as the bad image of the real estate sector, and creating studies that highlight the opportunities and needs of this sector thanks to the program developed together with the Association of Real Estate Developers of Madrid and Spain.

EL MUNDO 'Zen' Adecco Award for the best solidarity project:

- 1st Prize to the La Caixa Foundation for dealing with palliative care patients from a different perspective: they only take care of the patient, they also finance psychologists and therapists to pamper the rest of the family, preparing them to face the loss of a loved one.

- 2nd Prize to the Foundation of Workers eLPOZO Food for having loyalty to 95% of its workforce and because its solidarity project results both in the company and in external projects.

- 3rd EMT Award for creating a project aimed at bringing public transport closer to passengers with reduced mobility.

EL MUNDO 'Zen' Adecco Award for the best entrepreneurial project:

- 1st Prize to Amadix for his novel proposal in the field of medical sciences.

To investigate so that patients, through a simple analysis, can anticipate and change habits that improve the fight against cancer.

- 2nd Prize for Qustodio for supporting the responsible use of internet and screens in families.

- 3rd Trucksters Award for improving the lives of long-distance truck drivers, making it easier for them to return home after their workday.

For optimizing the logistics network through that intelligent use of trucks, avoiding additional trips for the return of the drivers.

EL MUNDO 'Zen' Adecco Award for the best policies of flexibility and reconciliation of professional and personal life:

- 1st Prize to L'Orèal for promoting One Life, a program that includes numerous initiatives to promote the balance between personal and professional life.

With initiatives such as "remote" work several days a month or the "Challenge of 6", launched several weeks a year so that no employee leaves the office beyond that time.

For a policy of effective meetings or for programs such as “Welcome baby” to help employees with the necessary steps after the birth of their child or “Welcome mom”, with a 25% reduction in their workday during the first month after maternity leave, without any reduction in their pay.

In this edition, the Zen ex aequo Manager Award has been given to two people:

- Josep Santacreu, CEO of DKV Seguros, for being a pioneer in responsibility and social entrepreneurship with more than 35 years of activity in this area, for his strong commitment and involvement in social causes of his company.
