The Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes participated yesterday in the celebration of the International Volunteer Day in Alhama de Murcia, a day organized by the City Council of this municipality under the slogan "We are from another galaxy, we are volunteers".
Throughout the morning a total of fifteen associations of a social nature, including the delegation in Alhama de Murcia de D'Genes, have offered information on their activity.
Members of D'Genes reported at the stand that they occupied the work they do and the services they provide to improve the quality of life of people living with rare diseases.
In addition, they made available to this day dolls of cartoon characters, who have delighted the children, who have been able to photograph themselves with them.
The International Volunteer Day 2019 has had, in addition to D´Genes with the participation of 14 other entities: Cáritas Alhama de Murcia, Association Espoñola Against Cancer, Manos Unidas, Hospitality of Lourdes, Scout Valley Group of Leyva, Civil Protection, Archicofradía Our Father Jesus Nazareno, Red Cross, Francisco Munuera Foundation, Fathers and Mothers Association of the Salinas Day Center, Cavalli Foundation, Voades Association, Abraham Project Association, Municipal Service of Psychosocial Care and Municipal Volunteer Service.
