eLPOZO BienStar has presented its manual 'Feeding in childhood.
Guides for fathers and mothers' to the more than 400 pediatric nurses gathered in Gijón, in the VII International Congress and the XIV National Conference of this specialty, organized by the Spanish Association of Pediatric Nursing (AEEP).
In this manual, which serves as support to these professionals in their pediatric consultations, the importance of children's nutrition, nutritional needs, and feeding at different stages, from birth and during school age, is addressed.
In addition, tips are included to adapt habits to the Healthy Eating Pyramid of the Naos Strategy, as well as recommendations and examples to distribute food during the day.
eLPOZO BienStar has sponsored this congress developed with the motto "From birth to adolescence, the pediatric nurse takes care of you" and which highlights the experience, training and skills of nurses specialized in children's health.
