The company Tunstall Televida has renewed the contract for the provision of the home telecare service of the City of Alhama de Murcia by obtaining 10 points out of 10 in the technical project.
The Consistory rejected the offer presented by Ilunion Sociosanitarios when considering that the price per terminal and user incurred an abnormal or disproportionate withdrawal and did not guarantee a correct provision of the service.
This contract will continue for the next two years, with the possibility of extending it for two more years, with an annual budget of just over 24,000 euros, for a total of 175 users.
The project includes the custody of keys for those people who do not have close contacts that allow to open the door of the house in case of emergency, as well as four annual talks on topics of interest and two meetings a year with the staff of the company.
Likewise, home security devices (mobility, gas leaks, smoke detectors ...) are offered for 25% of users, provided that their need is assessed, in addition to GSM terminals, specific for homes that do not have With analog telephone line.
In addition, and as a novelty, Tunstall Televida will maintain the service for at least three months as support in the duel for caregivers after the death of the user.
