Before the letter sent to the local media by Hoteliers of the Evening Fair, the City of Alhama de Murcia reports the following:
Given the requests of the neighbors at the last Fair, the Local Government Board has opted for the realization of a unified Day and Evening Fair in the urban center, as it has been doing since its inception.
The Government team has met -at least- five times since July with all Alhama hoteliers to present the 2019 Fair proposal, attending and valuing the proposals that the hoteliers themselves have made.
In these meetings, all businesses that have wanted to participate, without vetoing anyone, and giving voice and vote to all of them, have been accommodated.
The condition to ride at the Day Fair by those who issue the statement was to start the schedule: from 12:00 to 17:00.
for catering hoteliers, and from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The schedule agreed at the bases by most hoteliers is from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The City Council has improved the requirements that hoteliers must meet to facilitate their participation in the Fair.
This week the bases of the Day Fair will be published, in whose writing all the hoteliers have collaborated who have shown their interest in participating, agreed by the majority and voted point by point.
These bases have been prepared for the next four years, with the aim of guaranteeing both catering and catering hotels their space within the Day Fair, giving the residents of Alicante that they will continue to have this event .
The City Council understands that the statement represents a minority of hoteliers, since most of them have expressed their willingness to participate in the Unified Day Fair.
The City Council remains ready to accommodate the hoteliers of the Evening Fair who wish to participate in the Unified Day Fair, but always giving priority to the general interest of the neighbors over any other particular interest.
