The "Campaign to fight fruit fly crop of table grapes," was presented on Wednesday, May 19, at City Hall by Councilman Agriculture, Fernando Alfonso Cerón and technical Counseling Agriculture and Water, Alfonso Lucas.
Thus began the distribution of bait and insecticide to activate and place in camp for new anglers.
In the first stage material is distributed for the earliest varieties (Superior, Sugraone, Prime, Flame, etc..) And a second, shall be allocated for other varieties.
The start of the season for table grapes in early varieties will take place from Wednesday, May 25, 2010; for other varieties, will begin on June 10, 2010.
People who already removed material (bait and insecticide) for vine last year, just have to go through withdrawal points enabled for each area or region, with your ID card if he holds and remove the bait and insecticide which they are entitled.
Farmers who join for the first time this year, must pass through to the District Agricultural Office in your area, fill out the application form so that there will validate and write the number of traps that have to buy.
Once purchased, the validated request and proof of purchase, will pick up the bait and insecticide which they are entitled, by the distribution point in your area.
This year, supplies 50% of the material that corresponds to each farmer, so the other 50% will buy on their own to cover the entire acreage effectively.
Authorized withdrawal points this season are:
For farmers Librilla, Alhama and Fuente Alamo, the point of withdrawal is the storehouse of the Cooperative Nuestra Senora del Rosario, on the road to Alhama Totana, on the outskirts of the village, telephone 629-902417.
The delivery schedule is Monday and Thursday, from 17:30 to 19:00 and Tuesdays from 11:00 to 14:00.
The material to be delivered has 120 days' duration (4 months).
To maximize performance, must be field installed on the following criteria:
Early Grapes: immediately, in all those varieties that are to be collected until the end of August.
