The City of Alhama reported through the Department of Culture and Heritage that the Municipal Theatre Workshop AUGER has won its fourth consecutive Phase Autonomous Region of Murcia of the Seventh Annual Premios Buero de Teatro Joven calls Coca-Cola Foundation Juan Manuel Sainz de Vicuna, The Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Education.
The Municipal Theatre Workshop AUGER received the same award for 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Also its director José María Cánovas Vera has received a special mention for best director.
The work presented in the competition is entitled "Lunatics" is a free version of the XVI century work of Thomas Middleton and William Rownley.
The Municipal Theatre Workshop AUGER represents the Region of Murcia National Phase Buero prizes with the recording of the work to take place at the Teatro Bernal del Palmar (Murcia) on Monday May 24 at 19:00 hours before representatives of the national jury.
The awards ceremony will take place next Tuesday 25 May at the same stage and place.
