Last week the first edition of the group work 'Tree of Life' was closed, with the presence of the councilor of Social Services, Felipe García.
The initiative, which is part of the actions offered by the Municipal Social Services Center, took place from September to December 2017, with a weekly schedule, in which a total of nine people participated.
Between the objectives marked with this type of activity, they are:
* Encourage the development of creativity inherent in each person through individual and team work.
* Recover abilities, skills that are unknown or not exercised.
* Express how I feel with me, with my closest environment, with my group in order to develop self-knowledge and empathy.
* Encourage the social participation of the members of the group, promoting a meeting space, based on trust and mutual respect where people can share concerns and experiences.
* Talk about the difficulties that occur in our day to day, acquiring improvement techniques, counting for it, with the support of professional and group.
* Create a feeling of belonging, of shared values, that reaffirm and provide confidence and security.
From the Social Services area, they describe the experience as "very enriching for all the participants and we want to thank them for their commitment and participation".
