Painting workshop for young people (14/11/2017)

The Department of Culture has presented today a mural painting workshop that will be taught by the artist Alhameño 'Murfy'.

The workshop will take place on December 2, 16 and 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Puri Andreo pavilion of the Ginés Díaz - San Cristóbal school.

This activity will have a maximum of 10 students and will be aimed at children and young people between 9 and 14 years.

The results of the pieces will be exhibited in El Pósito.

"Murfy has always made some very interesting proposals for the municipality of Alhama and we hope he can continue working from now on in our town," said Councilor for Culture, Alicia Martínez.

The artist explained that "the idea is to give the basic notions so that participants learn to work in large format and have an interest in painting walls, walls and large canvases."

The price of the workshop is 70 euros, including materials and information, of which the City will subsidize 30 euros to each student.

Murfy thanked the collaboration of the City Council of Alhama and the cultural proposals that are being developed to beautify the town.

In addition, he has revealed that he intends to hold another mural painting workshop for adults in January 2018.
