Training in prevention of occupational risks (17/05/2017)

The Mayor, responsible for Training and Employment, reports on the planned training actions in the field of prevention of occupational hazards addressed to workers in the agricultural sector, to be carried out during 2017.

In collaboration with the agricultural organizations (FECOAM, ASAJA, FECAMUR and UPA) and with the Community of Irrigators, since the call of the Water, Agriculture and Environment Council, published on April 28, a Series of courses aimed at agricultural workers, to be held between June and September:

-Training for treatments with phytosanitary pesticides, basic level.

(4 editions)

- Training for treatments with phytosanitary pesticides, qualified level.

- Safe tractor handling

- Safe handling of forklift truck

- Animal welfare in transport

For the accomplishment of these formative actions, the City Council has ceded in the Local Government Board, held on May 9, the sharing in precarious and free of several municipal facilities (Training Center, classroom of the Nursery of Companies, Warehouse and Municipal nursery) to the agrarian organizations, with which it collaborates in the organization: information, reception of requests, completion of documentation, delivery of licenses and accreditations, localization of farms and means for practices, etc.
