On the occasion of the International Day of Asperger Syndrome (February 18), the Municipal Psychosocial Care Center visited the public school Espuña.
The intention is to promote basic, such pillars as a culture of respect, non-discrimination and diversity awareness.
The day of coexistence developed an extensive program and activities adapted to different ages, such as:
- Explanation and characteristics of mental health, through stories or comics.
- Making fun activities for the consolidation of what worked dynamics.
- Visit to the exhibition of art works by members of the Municipal Psychosocial Care Center.
The performances were directed by a technician and in collaboration with teachers.
It was an emotional, enriching and fun coexistence in which school students, along with the users of the center, were the protagonists.
