CECOPAL meets to analyze the new restrictive measures adopted by the Autonomous Community (06/11/2020)

The Municipal Operational Coordination Center (CECOPAL) met this Friday to analyze the evolution of the pandemic in Alhama in the last week.

This body was convened for this morning with the aim of assessing the new order of the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community, scheduled for today, but which has not finally been published so far.

In it, as the regional government announced through the media and the meeting held with the mayors of the 45 municipalities last Wednesday, the closing of the activity of bars and restaurants is established as of this midnight and for the next 15 days.

In addition to other recommendations, which we will know once its publication is made effective through the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM).Different technicians and members of the Government team have participated in CECOPAL, among which the following interventions stand out:The Mayor opened the session by reporting the particularly serious situation affecting the entire Region and that in Alhama "it is worrying because of the increase in cases that has led to community transmission, where the virus circulates uncontrollably and already affects families whole ".The technician from the Infrastructure and Public Services area has reported on the evolution of the analysis in wastewater in the last week, which has been carried out with the aim of detecting remains of the Covid-19 virus. The Councilor for Health, Rosa Sánchez, has reported on the evolution of the updated data on infections in Alhama, which this Thursday showed a cumulative incidence of 1,055 cases x 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days and 575 cases x 100,000 inhabitants in the last 7 days.

He has also highlighted that the number of cases has increased exponentially in recent days due to the fact that more PCR tests and antigen tests are being carried out.The chief commissioner of the Local Police has once again highlighted the low number of quarantine and isolation breaches in the municipality, as well as time and mobility limitations.

The incidents in the hospitality establishments are null, respecting the gauges and the regulations, according to the interventions carried out by the agents.The Social Services coordinator explained that there is still close coordination with the health center social worker to attend to all the needs that arise in the current situation.Civil Protection, through its coordinator, has highlighted the collaboration of the population, especially on the weekend of All Saints, respecting the recommendations and staggering visits to the cemetery to avoid crowds.
