This morning the police coordination table took place, at the instruction of the Government delegation in the Region of Murcia, given the state of alarm due to the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The meeting, chaired by the mayor of Alhama, was made up of the lieutenant and the first corporal of the post of Civil Guard of the municipality, the commissioner of the Local Police and the councilors responsible for Public Safety and Protection and Infrastructure and Public Services.

During the validity of the state of alarm, the police services will focus primarily on compliance with the obligations established in the Royal Decree, limiting, as far as possible, those services that are not considered essential.
The agents of the authority will be able to practice the verifications in the people, goods, vehicles, premises and establishments that are necessary to verify and, where appropriate, prevent the services and activities suspended in the Royal Decree of declaration of the state from being carried out. alarm, except those expressly excepted.
To do this, they may issue the necessary orders and prohibitions and suspend the activities or services that are being carried out.
The security forces and bodies will establish fixed and mobile security devices, both on public roads and spaces and on the transport network, and in particular in those places or time zones that are specifically affected by the restrictions that are Then, to ensure the observance of the limiting measures agreed in the framework of the Royal Decree, check their compliance and, if appropriate, sanction their infringement, being able to carry out for this purpose the personal and documentary checks necessary under the provisions of the Organic Law 4/2015, of March 30, on the protection of citizen security.
In any case, the action of the security forces and bodies will take into account the need to guarantee that citizens can access their jobs and basic services if necessary, as well as to allow the mobility of the personnel belonging to entities dedicated to the provision of essential services or to the supply and distribution of basic goods and services.
Support for restrictive measures in relation to commercial activity, opening of establishments and acts of worship.
In this sense, the suspension of the opening to the public of retail premises and establishments has been addressed, with the exception of food and basic necessities and products listed in the annex to the Royal Decree, as well as any other activity or establishment that in the judgment of the competent authority, it may pose a risk of contagion.
The permanence in the establishments whose opening is allowed must be strictly necessary for the acquisition of food and basic necessities, the possibility of consuming products in the establishments themselves being suspended.
Police actions will be governed under the principles of proportionality, consistency and opportunity, treating citizens with due respect in each of them.
A respect that must be reciprocated by the neighbors, who are asked to comply with the instructions given by the competent authority.
