Within the framework of the X Women's Triathlon and Popular Villa de Alhama, the Aquathlon Regional Championship was held, which crowned Leonor Fernández, of CT Águilas Primaflor, and Guillermo Martínez, of the Cartagena Triathlon Club, as Champions.
The triathlete of Águilas completed the 1,000 meters of swimming and 5 kilometers of running, in which the test consisted, in a time of 44 minutes and 10 seconds that led him to raise the winning tape.
The women's podium was completed by Alejandra Martínez, from AulaPlus Pekabo Triathlon Murcia (47:18), and Paloma Jerez, from Athletics Madarache Cartagena (47:49), who occupied the second and third places, respectively.
In the men's competition, it was Guillermo Martínez, of the Cartagena Triathlon Club, who proclaimed himself Regional Aquatlon Champion stopping the clock in 33 minutes and 39 seconds.
The second position was for Sergio Cuenca, of the Arabí Yecla Catlike (34:54), while the third place was Gregorio Martínez, of AD Cehegín (35:47).
