Alhama de Murcia yesterday lived an authentic party around the triathlon with the celebration of several competitions included in the X Popular Triathlon and Women Villa de Alhama.
Among the disputed competitions, was the Women's Triathlon which had about thirty participants, raising the winning tape Andrea Garcia, with a time of 36 minutes and 47 seconds.
The popular triathlon, to which only non-federated athletes could register, was won by Jaime González, with a time of 33 minutes and 20 seconds.
In addition, a new day of the League of Minors was held, included in the national program of "TriDriver" that counted on the victories of Jesús Montoya (CT Caravaca) and Paula Sánchez (Tritones Murcia) in Cadet category;
Pablo León (EDM Caravaca) and Nieves Navarro (Tritones Murcia) in Children;
and Alejandro López (EDM Caravaca) and Cinta Nicolás (Tritones Murcia) in Alevín.
Within the framework of the Triathlon of Alhama, the Aquathlon Regional Championship was also held, whose victories were for Guillermo Martínez, of the Triathlon Club Cartagena, and Leonor Fernández, of the Triathlon Club Águilas Primaflor
