95% of the company's workforce is part of this Foundation, one of the most numerous in Spain. The entity recognizes the work of 12 social support associations, and awards the Photography Awards and the Best Academic Records January 31st. 2019 - The Foundation of Workers of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has celebrated its tenth anniversary with a Gala that gathered yesterday afternoon, at the company's facilities, in Alhama de Murcia, about two hundred people, including workers, employers and collaborators.
About 4,700 workers of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, 95 percent of the workforce, are part of this Foundation, considered one of the most numerous in Spain.
Ten years ago it was established with the aim of creating value among the workers of the company and their families, supporting the work of NGOs and non-profit organizations, and promoting cultural activity.
The X Anniversary Gala of the Workers' Foundation was attended by Mª Ángeles Polo, a Yeclana athlete, who shared her experience and commitment to sports after going through an illness.
In this act the work of the 12 associations awarded in the call for Social Aid granted annually by the Foundation was recognized.
In addition, the three winning prizes of the Annual Photography Contest were awarded, as well as the three awards to the Best Academic Record of the children of the employees.
The Workers Foundation also distinguished the strong brothers, José, Tomás and Juana, for their support and involvement with the Foundation and the municipality of Alhama and the Region of Murcia.
The gala ended with the performance of the musical group 'The Happys'.
In these ten years, the Foundation has launched numerous activities related to the care sector, the social sphere and the cultural offer.
It is a non-profit institution, of a foundational nature, that develops its activities throughout the regional territory.
